Works in clinical surgery. Has served as Deputy Director (Vice President) of a district hospital of traditional Chinese medicine and a district people's hospital. In 2008 he was assigned to a provincial expert medical team for earthquake relief in Sichuan, where in 35 days he performed 28 operations and treated more than 130 injured patients, earning commendation from the local government and the Department of Health. He has been awarded honorary titles including "Model Worker of Shangrao City," "Model Worker of Jiangxi Province," and "Advanced Worker."
