How the procedure works
Collagen implantation (Chinese 胶原蛋白植入) is a traditional Chinese medicine technique in which a resorbable collagen material is placed into biologically active (acupuncture) points. As it gradually resorbs, it exerts a gentle, prolonged effect on the point — in essence a development of the classic concept of acupoint thread embedding (Chinese 埋线) using a modern biocompatible material.
The method is used strictly as prescribed by a physician, as part of an individual plan, and only in the absence of contraindications. The indications, regimen, and appropriateness of the procedure are determined at an in-person consultation.
